Thorfinn Karlsefni (Old Norse: Thorfinnr Karlsefni, Icelandic : Thorfinnur Karlsefni) is an Icelandic explorer who around the year 1010 tried to settle in Vinland with three ships and 160 people. Of those, there were Freydis Eiriksdottir and Thorvald Eriksson's half-sister and brother of Leif Eriksson.
