André Voisin
Ingénieur agronome et chercheur, André Voisin fut un précurseur visionnaire. Enseignant au lycée agricole d’Yvetot et installé dans une très belle ferme à Gruchet près d’Arques-la-Bataille, il vend ses terres pour se consacrer à la recherche.
Conférencier connu et reconnu, le Dieppois se déplace dans le monde entier. Au Canada, en Australie, en Nouvelle-Zélande, en Afrique ou en Amérique latine, il est le maître à penser de centaines d’éleveurs, d’universitaires et de scientifiques.
A Cuba en particulier, Fidel Castro lui voue une grande admiration. C’est d’ailleurs lors de son séjour sur l’île, en 1964, qu’André Voisin succombe à une crise cardiaque très fatigué après une série de conférences télévisées qui avaient remporté un vif succès. Agé de 61 ans seulement, André Voisin a été inhumé à Cuba comme un véritable chef d’état

Agronomist and researcher, Andre Voisin was a visionary teacher in the Agricultural College of Yvetot. He used to live in a beautiful farm in Gruchet (near Arques-la-Bataille) which he sold to devote his life to research.
A well known and respected speaker,this man from Dieppe travelled around the world. Everywhere, in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Africa or Latin America, he was the mentor of hundreds of farmers, academics and scientists.
