Conches en Ouche
Adossé à la zone forestière qui forme la lisière Nord du Pays d’Ouche, le bourg de Conches en Ouche fut fondé par Roger de Tosny.
D’une campagne contre les Maures, il rapporta des reliques de Sainte Foy et fit édifier une église dédiée à la jeune martyre. Les vitraux de par leur homogénéité et leur qualité sont un des charmes de l’église Sainte Foy.

Backed by the forest area which forms the northern edge of the Pays d'Ouche, the small town of Conches en Ouche was founded by Roger de Tosny.
In a campaign against the Moors, he brought the relics of Sainte Foy and had built a church dedicated to the young martyr. The consistency and the quality of the stained-glass windows are one of the charms of the Church of St. Foy.
